Brian Pew was born and raised in New York City. From the age of nine he was widely known as “the preppie kid” in over thirty TV commercials for products ranging from Honey Nut Cheerios to Hellmann’s Mayonnaise. After graduating from Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School, he received a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia. He has written and directed the short films Focus Group and Salon Survival.
